What are biodiversity credits?
A biodiversity credit is a way to fund concrete measures that preserve and strengthen biological diversity. Instead of only offsetting emissions, the money is directed toward protecting habitats and endangered species – an area that has long lacked clear market mechanisms.
Orsa Besparingsskog and the pasque flower
Devi's credits are tied to an initiative in Orsa Besparingsskog, where the work aims to preserve biological diversity and protect endangered species – including the protected pasque flower. The credits were developed by Qarlbo Biodiversity. By supporting the project, Devi helps ensure that valuable natural assets remain for future generations.
